FORTHCOMING PUBLICATION OF THE ORTHODOX OLD TESTAMENT IN LITURGICAL ENGLISH
We are very pleased to announce that the Center for Traditionalist Orthodox Studies has arranged with Mr. Michael Asser to publish, within the next year, his translation of the Septuagint (LXX) text of the Old Testament. This will be in the language of the King James and Douay-Rheims versions of the Old Testament, with the text brought into conformity with that traditionally used by the Orthodox Church, following several current Greek editions of the LXX.
This major and monumental publication by a very capable and careful scholar will be issued in six paperbound, affordable volumes: first, the Pentateuch, followed by the Historical Books (in 2 volumes), the Poetical Books, and the Minor and Major Prophets (in 2 volumes).
